The sale follows the successful securing of planning consent by Gladman, on behalf of the landowner, for 155 new homes, including the delivery of 25% on-site affordable housing, alongside associated landscaping.
Reaching this important stage is the result of a considerable amount of work, collaboration and determination from everyone involved throughout both the planning and disposal process.
The completion of the sale is a fantastic result and demonstrates the contribution of so many people, both within Gladman and across the wider professional team. From securing planning consent through to completing the disposal, it has been a real collaborative effort.
We are incredibly pleased to see the site move forward to its next chapter with Barratt Homes and would like to thank everyone who has played a part in achieving this positive result.
We would like to extend a huge thank you to Emily Haines and Andrew Eagle at Josiah Hincks Solicitors, Tracy Adams and Abigail Thomas at Freeths, and Siobhan Smyth at Merali Beedle for their support and contribution throughout the transaction.
Our thanks also go to James Salmon and Stephen Ward at Barratt Homes and Rupert Harrison at SBK Professional Services for their professionalism and determination throughout the process. We would also like to recognise Rob Thorley and Kieran Henry at Jelson Homes for their involvement.
The successful sale in Littlethorpe is also a great opportunity to recognise the hard work of colleagues across Gladman who have supported the site from planning through to disposal.
A special thank you goes to Clare Holmes, Stuart Carvel, Peter Fawcett, Beth Ambrose, Holly Banks, Sian Wilding, Katie Birdsall and Marriyah Jabbar, whose work within the project team helped to deliver the planning consent and support the site throughout the disposal period.
The project has also benefited from expertise and support from teams across the business. We would like to thank Becky Simpson, Sophie Ost and Nicola Baines in the legal team, as well as Mark Heath James Brown in the technical team.
Finally, our thanks go to Iain Marjoram and Phil Mussell in the land team for their work and support in helping the site reach this successful outcome.
Most importantly, we would like to thank the landowners for their continued trust and support throughout the process. We are delighted to have reached this successful milestone on their behalf and wish them all the very best for the future.
