We are delighted to share that Colchester City Council resolved to grant outline planning permission for 75 new homes at Land off Rowhedge Road, Colchester.
After working closely with officers at Colchester City Council to resolve all technical matters raised during the determination process, the application received a recommendation for approval and was heard at the Council’s Planning Committee earlier this month.
The proposals include 75 new homes, 30% of which will be delivered as affordable housing, accompanied by significant areas of green infrastructure and landscaping, which accounts for approximately 47% of the total site area, including publicly accessible open space and a children’s play area. Financial contributions accompanying the proposals also include over £215,000 to local community facilities and over £45,000 to local sports and play facilities.
Many thanks to the Gladman team and also a big thanks also to our team of consultants: FPCR, CSA Environmental, Stirling Maynard, Air Quality Consultants, Noise Consultants, Brownfield Solutions and GTA Civils & Transport.
