We successfully achieved planning permission for up to 280 homes, including 30% affordable housing.
The development also includes the introduction of structural planting and landscaping, informal public open space and children’s play area, surface water flood mitigation and attenuation, and a vehicular access point from White Post Road and associated ancillary works.
The site formed part of local plan allocation Banbury 17, totalling 1,345 dwellings and included the first part of a new link road, sports pitches, youth games court and a new car park to provide improved parking to the nearby primary school.
The site was marketed on an informal tender basis by Savills and Carter Jonas acting for the landowners and Gladman; a number of offers were received for this attractive opportunity.
