I have worked at Gladman for circa 5 years and have almost 30 years’ experience in the industry, including stints at national and regional housebuilders. I head up land acquisitions in the South East region, and I am primarily responsible for identifying and securing new land opportunities and managing relationships with landowners and agents. I work closely with our in-house planning, technical, legal and disposal teams to ensure these opportunities are then converted into planning permissions and land sales, with the express aim of delivering the optimum value for our landowner clients.
The South East region extends from Kent in the east to Hampshire in the west. This is one of our strongest operating areas and we are actively promoting sites across the region, via Local Plan promotions, planning applications and appeals. Since 2013, when Gladman focussed its core business on strategic residential land, we have secured planning permission on 55 sites in the South East, which are either on the market or have been sold onto national and regional housebuilders, generating significant returns for our landowner clients. This has been made possible by utilising our strong network of land agent and landowners, as well as by consistently and relentlessly delivering results, utilising our industry-leading in-house planning, technical, land and legal teams.
