The decision follows the resolution to grant planning permission in Alford by East Lindsey District Council’s Planning Committee in December 2025.
In reaching its decision, the Council agreed that the proposals accord with the Development Plan as a whole, and that there were no material considerations which indicated that planning permission should be refused.
Accordingly, planning permission was granted, subject to planning conditions and planning obligations. The decision also comes at a time when the Council are unable to demonstrate a five-year housing land supply.
