Main Contact: Your Project Team
Once you have decided to partner with us, you will be appointed a Project Team.
The team is led by a Planner and a Project Manager who will be your main point of contact throughout the entire planning process.
You can be involved in as little or as much of the process as you prefer – some landowners are happy to leave the process entirely to us, whilst others take a more hands-on approach. Either way our dedicated team has one objective – to achieve a planning win for you.
Your team, with the help of our experienced specialist consultants, will prepare a range of technical surveys and reports required as part of a planning application. These detailed documents will be tailored to your land.
We will produce bespoke promotional material as part of our strategy for promoting your land. We proactively engage with the Local Planning Authority and with the wider community. A public consultation is held with the local community and opinions and comments are taken into account as we evolve our plans.
Before we submit a planning application, we will send you a copy of the final documents for your approval. You will also approve public consultation and other promotional material.
Throughout the time we are working on your behalf, our Planning Policy experts will also be involved by making representations to Local Plans to ensure your land’s planning position is protected and has the best chance of success.
We win over 50% of our planning approvals locally at Planning Committee. However, sometimes this is not possible.
If we go to Appeal, our Project Teams are highly skilled at providing planning evidence.
Together, with a selection of expert witnesses and a Barrister (if required), we will produce robust and detailed evidence for the independent Planning Inspector.
At Gladman, we go the ‘country mile’; this can mean finding a unique specialist consultant to address a technical issue, pioneering innovative planning strategies, or where necessary appealing, challenging or defending appeal decisions in the High Court or Court of Appeal.
We never set a budget for the sites we work on - no matter what the cost we will not give up if we believe a planning permission is achievable.
