Jody qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 1984 and in Hong Kong in 1987. She worked in Hong Kong for almost 10 years and became a partner in Asia’s largest law firm in 1990 specialising in property development and was involved in many major prestigious multi-use developments in Hong Kong in the 1990s. In 1996 Jody returned to the UK with her husband and three children and, after a short spell with a major national law firm, joined one of the Potteries’ oldest and leading commercial law firms, becoming a partner in the commercial property department.
Jody joined Gladman in 2004 and heads the in-house legal department. In November 2007 she was appointed a partner of Gladman.
Jody is married to Ian and has three teenage children, Guy, JJ and Chloe. In what little free time she has after chasing around after them all and watching them participate in their various sporting pursuits she enjoys skiing, sailing, travel and good food (whether preparing or consuming) and wine
