Gladman's Scottish office played rugby for charity on Sunday 8 June, in the Estates Gazette/King Sturge Estate Agents' Rugby Sevens. The event was held at Edinburgh Academicals Rugby Club, the venue of the first ever international rugby match, contested by Scotland and England in 1871.
The Gladman Seven entered a team into the mixed competition and played Brodies Solicitors, Pinsent Masons Solicitors, Jones Lang LaSalle and Savills. A combination of poor refereeing decisions and the advancing ages of several members of the team resulted in the team failing to progress beyond the pool stages.
Several youngsters made their debuts for the Gladman Seven including Rob Davis's daughter, Alan Cunningham's son and daughter and Susan Pegg's son, which gives hope for a more youthful squad in next year's event.
The day raised a total of £3,300 for the Sick Kids Foundation.
