Industrial Overview

Gladman has constructed over 6 million sq ft of industrial space during the past 3 years with a total capital value of over £300 million.

In 2007, Gladman sold a 4 million sq ft portfolio of industrial/distribution properties to American investor, Rockpoint Group. This was, and remains, the largest deal of its type in the UK.

Gladman’s industrial schemes offer a range of sizes from 3,000 to 2,000,000 sq ft (280 to 185,806 sq m).

Gladman currently have more than four million square feet of industrial and distribution space either under development or with planning approval.

All the buildings have been developed on a speculative basis, as Gladman believes that this is the best option for occupiers needing new accommodation.

All the schemes are self-funded by Gladman, meaning that we can offer freeholds, as well as leaseholds.

Typical specification

Gladman's industrial and distribution premises are built to the highest specification to provide accommodation that can be used effectively by any end user. The specification varies from site to site, however the typical specification below applies to most of our buildings over 100,000 sq ft.

  • Located close to a motorway junction or major arterial trunk road.
  • Secure fenced site
  • Up to 15 metre eaves
  • Multiple dock levellers that can be finished to bespoke height
  • Bespoke floor loadings to meet occupier requirements
  • Generous lorry, trailer and car parking provision.
  • High specification office content, including suspended ceilings, lighting, raised floors and lift.
