Gladman Developments Ltd
Developing a range of both office and industrial schemes, Gladman have grown to become one of the largest developers in the UK. Constructing up to 3 million sq ft of space each year across the UK Gladman now have successful developments in locations from Aberdeen to Bedford, Newcastle-upon-Tyne to Bristol.
The key to Gladman’s success has been our commitment to pure development. Our experience has shown that one of the main reasons occupiers choose new locations is the provision of a readily available high quality product, available for immediate occupation. Whilst some blue-chip occupiers often look for bespoke accommodation, shortening timescales and the need to be flexible mean most businesses aim to make property decisions and relocate within a few months.
To ensure our schemes are exposed to the full range of occupiers, we typically offer commercial buildings on a freehold as well as leasehold purchase basis, a route many other developers are unwilling or unable to pursue. From our experience the option to purchase gives companies, the ability to incorporate property within their pension scheme, or wider investment strategy. This is particularly true for growing SMEs.
Gladman Homes LLP
Gladman Homes LLP is the contracting arm of the Gladman Group. This Developer/Contractor structure gives us a high level of control in the construction process, enabling us to achieve guaranteed deliverability on agreed timetables. There are further benefits for issues such as quality monitoring - we are more vigilant than the average developer, who once a build contract has been agreed will often have little day to day dealings with the construction process.

Adlington focuses on the construction of market leading apartments with care exclusively for the over 55s. across the UK. Our first scheme at Rhos-on-Sea has welcomed its first residents. The company also holds an attractive portfolio of sites with planning consent with an ongoing acquisitions programme looking to secure further sites.

Gladman Strategic Land
The strategic land arm of the Gladman Group. The company works with land owners to promote strategic development opportunities on large sites in all parts of the UK. Using an innovative approach and substantial in-house expertise, Gladman Strategic Land has secured over 1,000 acres which are now being worked through the planning process.
Our first scheme successfully achieved planning consent in Summer 2009 with a number of planning applications being pursued across the UK.
